Girls Lead is a D.C.-based nonprofit organization that empowers young women in lower-income communities to advocate for themselves, to become more confident, and to be more active in their schools and communities. To help support their cause, I developed branding and advertising design elements.

While creating the brand identity I explored and developed various concepts around the idea of “moving forward” while still maintaining visual order within the logo mark. To compliment the logo mark I used a rounded typeface with subtle slant to build on the idea of leading forward progress.
